Thanks for taking the time to write up this post on Mikogo. The shout out is much appreciated. And great to hear that you're finding so many needs where you can use Mikogo.
Yes, the intention with the buttons is to make life a bit easier for both the meeting organizers and the participants. 
Btw, we are about to release a Mac version which will be cross platform, so that Mac users can start meetings, and invite both Mac and PC users to participate. Vice versa, PC users will be able to start meetings (as they do now) and then invite both Mac and PC users to participate. You'll no doubt hear more about this via the Mikogo Blog or Twitter.
